Finance & Admin Assistant
Before joining Panintelligence, I worked for a Financial Advisors' company in Ilkley for five years as their Finance Assistant. Prior to this, I have mainly been involved in Insurance & Debt Recovery, usually within Administration and Client Services. Many years ago, I completed a Business Studies degree in Hull, which also included a six-month stint at the Business School in Bordeaux.
I started working at Panintelligence in September 2017 as the Finance & Admin Assistant, where I am responsible for all general accounts tasks, as well as any other office admin jobs that crop up. I enjoy organising and have a passion for numbers, so this is the ideal role for me.
Since starting here, I have seen how all my colleagues enjoy their work, and coming in every day is not seen as a chore, which is an ideal I am quickly joining in with. After planning a couple of successful work outings, including a two-part Christmas event, I have now taken on the role of Social Secretary, and I look forward to planning more trips for the Panintelligence staff.
Outside work, I am a mother of two, so most of my spare time revolves around my family. I’m a keen runner, but not a fan of entering races, so I tend to set myself personal challenges to keep myself motivated and fit.
I can often be seen out walking up on Rawdon Billing or Ilkley Moor with my family, which is a good way of getting everyone (myself included) away from a screen. A holiday in the sun is something we all look forward to; our current favourite destination is Nerja in southern Spain, which has the perfect combination of lovely beaches, beer, and tapas.
With friends, I like to take relaxing trips to the spa and meet up for an occasional gin. If I'm treating my husband to a weekend off the cooking, we like to go and see comedians such as Adam Hills and Sean Lock.
