Business Development Executive

Here at Panintelligence we have big plans regarding the products and services we will be providing to our customers in the coming months and years. To ensure we are setup to successfully deliver upon these ambitious plans, we are looking to extend our sales & marketing team and recruit several key roles into our business.

Hours: Full Time. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to: CEO
Salary: Competitive salary plus uncapped commission structure

The Business Development Executive [BDE] role is fundamental in these future plans. We have a fantastic opportunity for a BDE to join our motivated and ambitious team. We are currently seeking high-energy, technologically savvy, driven professionals with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts.

The right Business Development Executive loves a fast-paced environment with ambitious targets that they are eager to smash every week. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded, genuine person who has the passion to hustle and deliver exceptional results.
We're looking for a hunter with polished phone and writing skills, who is intrigued by technology and enjoys prospecting, learning and ultimately wants to have a career in sales.

The BDE will work with the Sales and Marketing teams, using modern lead generation tools, they will successfully nurture sales qualified leads into opportunities and expand our fast growing customer base

In this role you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in our Target Accounts on behalf of the global sales team.

Role Details:

Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and lead generation with global companies.
  • Leverage modern lead generation tool stacks including: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zopto and Apollo.io
  • Collaborate closely with New Business and Account Managers to successfully create a "plan-of-actions”, including targeting companies, targeting prospects and messaging.
  • Set up new business meetings to build your sales pipeline, qualify opportunities by objection handling, open questioning and similar.
  • Engage with our commercial strategy as we explore different markets and nail down our product market fit
  • Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better
  • Follow-up on inbound leads generated through Advertising, Web Enquiries, Web Chats, Webinars, Events, etc
  • Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
  • Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
  • Meeting new and existing clients in person
  • Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Setting sales goals and ensuring sales team meets them
  • Working with senior team members to manage risks
  • Training and mentoring other sales team members such as SDRs
  • Preparing and delivering pitches to potential customers
  • Attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
  • Networking with selected companies to identify appropriate contacts
  • Engaging with decision makers to collate account intelligence; using interview techniques to uncover projects or pain points, and thereby driving opportunities forward
  • Updating and maintaining account intelligence, as well as your own activity list in our CRM system
  • Participate in regular training & informational sessions.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly MRR/ARR targets.

BDE Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience
  • Have the autonomy to work on your own initiative and effectively manage your own workload to achieve deliverables
  • Competent in modern lead generation tool stacks such as LinkedIn
  • Have worked with pipeline management, and should have used a software system for managing this
  • Tech savvy to understand customers products and navigate CRM
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Confident, and motivated with strong negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail, completing tasks and documenting them thoroughly in CRM
  • Have a proven track record of hitting targets
  • Get a good understanding of the Panintelligence brand and being able to represent it to potential and existing clients and identifying opportunities via any means
  • Be able to manage multiple workstreams, closely working with high-profile individuals
  • Have prior experience of demand generation, ideally in the tech sector, selling B2B SaaS.
  • Thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
