2016 in review: awards, new partners, new team members and other highlights

2016 has been an award-winning year for Panintelligence, and as it draws to a close and 2017 beckons, we would like to share with you some of our highlights from this year and our aspirations for next.

The year proved to be very successful for us with the signing of some great new partners, the continuing expansion of team Panintelligence and the launch of Pi, all of which has helped us to achieve double digit sales growth.

One of the things I love most about our product is its universal application. It means we are able to partner with businesses across all sectors of our economy, giving us a 360 degree view and a unique insight into the different challenges they each face.

In the FinTech market this year we are delighted to have signed Eurobase, Premfina, Scan Coin and Active Fleet Solutions. In the Health sector we welcomed both Formic and Jayex.

We continue to find a sweet spot with Electronic Document Management (EDM) companies, who like us have a horizontal product offering. In the last few months Document Logistix, The Arena Group and Capita Swordfish have all signed up, and Protean Software is our latest Service Management partner.

We continue to grow our presence in the Sage and Exact Channels and this year to date we have signed up the following Partners: Micross Logic, Advantage Services, Opus-UK, Bowe Digital, Increase Computers, Pinnacle, Smith Cooper and Envisage.

We continue to recruit and in 2016 our focus has been on growing our marketing team with the addition of Carol and Anita who along with Maria have formed a great team who are here to help you.

Callum, fresh from university has also recently joined us as a Graduate Software Test Engineer. His role is critical, as we invest in developing our automated regression testing suite, in order to speed up releases and ensure the software is ever more robust.

We are currently recruiting to fill another 5 roles across the business and would expect to expand further as 2017 progresses.

3 partner user groups bring Pi to life

We are delighted to have finally released version Pi of our dashboard!

We have had some great feedback from partners and I think our Development team have done a fantastic job in enhancing the design of the mobile-friendly UI

At our product forum and the two partner conferences we have held this year we invited product input of our partners into prioritising additional functionality and design for future releases. All of their feedback and ideas have been gratefully taken on board.

There are many ways that we help partners to generate sales. If you are not already using it, Try-Pi is a great way to let customers and prospects experience Pi for themselves. We also have a growing bank of resources that are available to you and we welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge and some of the best practice we see across our partner base.

Outlook for 2017 and beyond

With the uncertainty created by Brexit, it is fair to say that in some quarters at least there are signs that buying decisions are being put on hold and there is a growing nervousness as to what the new year will bring.

For our part we believe that spend on Business Intelligence will hold up and is globally forecast to grow at over 5% next year as the shift from IT-led reporting to business-led self-service analytics gathers pace. We know that a strong BI proposition is a great sales aid and we want to help you get best value from your investment so please keep close to us, as the more you share the more we can help.
