GDPR-ready BI Dashboard Awarded Certificate of Security Compliance by ECSC
With the GDPR deadline of 25th May 2018 on the horizon, data security and privacy should be top of mind for any business in the EU. Failure to report breaches to the ICO within 72 hours could result in fines of between 2-4% of worldwide turnover. Most businesses have multiple sources of data which are potential points of entry. So it’s vital to ensure you’ve assessed the risks and taken precautions.
We go to great lengths to ensure that our Business Intelligence software is secure at the point of writing the code. Security has always been high on our agenda. Today we received our Certificate of Security Compliance from ECSC which shows we have recently been successfully tested for network penetration and application security and been found to be free from high-risk vulnerabilities.
It was great to work with ECSC who are specialists in cyber security. We’ve been really impressed with their approach which has helped us understand how well we are doing as a business at protecting ourselves as well as ensuring that the Panintelligence Dashboard solution is designed to comply with the highest level of data security. Our security specialist, Neil Musgrove wrote a blog post that expands on the penetration testing process.
To ensure our customers fully understand security around our BI solution and how we stack up against other BI vendors in the marketplace, we’ve recently run a number of educational customer webinars which have been well received. We invite you to get in touch to find out more.
For more information around GDPR, we would recommend ECSC who are our cyber security partner. You can register for one of their short seminars on GDPR which help get non-technical managers up to speed fast.
