IFS 360 Scheduling signs OEM deal with Panintelligence
360 Scheduling has its roots in complex numerical analysis and has a long standing relationship with Nottingham University. In the 1990s the company’s founders developed a sophisticated mapping and scheduling solution for use by the emergency services.
The system helped the Fire, Police and Ambulance services make efficient use of their resources and meet legal SLAs measured in minutes. Ambulances waiting in strategic locations rather than remaining in their stations became a common sight as a direct result of this system. 360 was founded in 2002 to take its world-leading scheduling expertise into a new software environment focusing on field service.
The adoption of the most modern technology that embraced the Web revolution has meant that any company with a mobile workforce, whatever its size, can now benefit from 360’s best-in-class scheduling solutions. Since that time, 360 has been working with Field Service organisations to help them schedule effectively and optimise their resources to meet an ever-widening spectrum of customer service demands.
The team at 360 continues to include top mathematicians, scheduling experts and field service specialists, based at Chilwell on the outskirts of Nottingham. In 2010, 360 Scheduling was acquired by IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems ) a global enterprise software company head-quartered in Linköping, Sweden with 50 offices around the world. They provide a component-based extended ERP suite built on SOA technology.
It is a multinational corporation with subsidiaries in the Americas, Europe North, Europe West, Europe Central, and Africa Asia and Pacific. IFS has a global customer base of 2,000 customers with more than 500,000 users. With its international presence, strong position in Service & Asset management and customer-focused culture IFS was an ideal fit with 360 Scheduling.
Mike Cripps from Panintelligence said “IFS 360 Scheduling have aggressive expansion plans in the UK and overseas and have a great track record of year-on-year sales growth. They are very innovative, deploying leading edge technology, and are seen as a benchmark business within the wider IFS Group.
The fact that they have chosen to adopt the Panintelligence dashboard application is very flattering. It is further testimony to the fact that we have a great product, and with an exciting development road map and a flexible engagement model, we feel that we have a very compelling offer to prospective OEM Partners.”
Laurent Othacéhé, CEO of IFS 360 Scheduling, commented “the Panintelligence approach to business and product development perfectly complements our own ‘always optimising’ philosophy. The dynamic nature of field-based customer service demands tools that are comprehensive, fast and flexible.
The Panintelligence dashboard provides users with action-ready insights that directly support our management by exception methodology.” David Bochenski, VP Business Development at IFS 360 Scheduling, added “scheduling hundreds or thousands of technician visits in real-time generates lots of data, and we see increasing demand from our markets for new analytical and visualization techniques to help them understand how they can improve their business performance.
The highly interactive nature of the Panintelligence dashboard and the ease of integration were key factors in our choice.”
