Panintelligence scale-up growth in 2018: New starters and international trade missions
As we continue our growth plans this year, we’re about to hit the magic mark of 30 employees, for the first time in the company’s history.
We’ve invested in 3 key areas of the business: Development, Sales, and Support, to deliver new product innovations quicker than ever before, and to continue to support our partners.
We’re also exploring exciting new markets to see where our mission of building remarkable partnerships with technology businesses can take us!
New sales people
On the Sales side of the business, we welcomed Iain, who comes to us directly from Sage, while Elana joins us from a leading internet security provider, also based in Leeds.
Iain will be helping to take our Sage products forward, while Elana will be taking control of our partner marketing initiative, to enable our partners to effectively sell Panintelligence into their customer base.
New support and development team members
To move the product’s development forward, we’ve hired two new developers – Jess joins from Science Warehouse and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in cloud operations, being an AWS certified solutions architect.
Panintelligence has also welcomed Igor, who has moved over from Portugal to join the team. Monday 3rd September was his first day on the job, and already he’s been treated to some of the UK’s trademark torrential rain.
Over on the support desk, we’ve added Aqueel as Second Line Support Analyst, who will be aiding Ben in answering customer queries on a daily basis.
Panintelligence CEO, Zandra Moore, said:
“With 10 new faces added to the team this year, it’s a very exciting time to be part of the Panintelligence journey. We remain committed to adding top talent across the company, as we continue to grow within the analytics market. We’ve now set our sights on expanding overseas to Boston, USA and we are exploring China.”
Invited to join a Chinese trade mission
Our Product Director, Ken, will be travelling to China for the World Economic Forum on 17th September. Panintelligence was invited to join a delegation led by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester and will be among 16 companies from the North representing cutting edge innovations.
Panintelligence will have the opportunity to meet with international researchers, thought leaders and companies at WEF, as well as one to one business match-making arranged by China Britain Business Council and the Department for International Trade (DIT). Ken will also have the opportunity to meet with Chinese representatives at the UK embassy in Beijing with the aim of forging new business relationships. Exciting times are ahead!
Panintelligence in Boston
The relationship between Leeds and Boston just gets stronger. With both cities being technology hubs, trade deals are becoming more frequent and ties are getting closer.
In November, our CEO, Zandra, will be heading across to Boston to meet communities of universities, councils, and technology vendors through face to face meetings and networking events.
We look forward to getting an insight into the market and exploring potential partnerships with software companies in the Boston tech hub located in Massachusetts.
