Panintelligence sponsors Insurance Technology Congress

This year Panintelligence is sponsoring the Insurance Technology Congress (ITC), the most important annual gathering of insurance technology experts. The two day event brings together over 200 European business leaders from the insurance industry who will have the opportunity to hear from a range of guest speakers from forward thinking technology organisations.

It also provides attendees with the opportunity to gain better understanding of how technology is being used as a strategic tool to change the wider insurance market. We will be demonstrating the Panintelligence dashboard throughout the event, giving attendees the chance to get some hands-on experience and see for themselves just how easy it is to use. There will also be an opportunity to read the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group (MSIG) Case Study to see how they have benefited from deploying the dashboard.

Richard Williams, CIO at MSIG, will be speaking at the event as part of a CIO Leadership Roundtable. When Richard joined MSIG his main challenge was to better align the information systems to what the business was actually doing. He was interested in technology that would allow users to have a common view of data trends to facilitate quick point of decision analysis. After looking at a number of BI applications MSIG selected Panintelligence and from the outset the dashboard revealed information that was previously buried in different tables and reports.

Our BI dashboard has helped MSIG to transform their reporting, improving customer outcomes and productivity. It has also led to the democratisation of data in the business as everyone has access to the dashboard based on a common data source. “The efficiency gains from ending the report writing and manipulation cottage industry has probably paid for the software itself, even before you look at the downstream real business benefits”, said Richard Williams, about the dashboard. The ITC is taking place on September 22-23rd at St Paul’s in London.
