Scan Coin: A Customer Case Study, Luca Zanotti

Panintelligence’s Software Partner Event, on the 23rd November 2017, welcomed 30 of our partners to our offices for a day-long technical chat about the future of our product. One of those 30 was Scan Coin’s Luca Zanotti, who wasn’t just there to sit in the crowd, but to deliver his own presentation too.

Who are Scan Coin?

Scan Coin provides cash management systems which enable their customers to manage cash more efficiently within their businesses. Here are some use case examples:

  • All cash put into ticket machines is deposited in Scan Coin RCS Systems
  • LU staff use ID cards to deposit cash into RCS systems
  • All financial transactions are passed from SoftOne to a secure sever in Manchester
  • Service calls can be logged via telephone, 24/7, direct into the service management system
  • KPIs are measured from financial transactions

The integration of our dashboards with their software helped them to land their biggest contract in 50 years, and the largest they’d ever landed in the UK, with a major southern transport company.

How did Panintelligence fit the bill?

As part of Luca’s presentation, he explained what the major transport company was looking for, and how our dashboards met those demands.

How the customer is using the dashboards

The dashboards are accessible via smartphone, so each of the client’s engineers can see real-time data when their working in the field. The dashboards can provide the engineers with information as quick as possible, as and when they need it.

This also allows other people in the company to gain greater visibility on where the engineers are at any given time, and what they’re doing. Their location is tracked as a pinpoint on a map, which is displayed in the dashboard’s user interface.
