Panintelligence Sponsors Jamie Peacock for 2014 Season

Yeadon-based Panintelligence is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring Jamie Peacock from Leeds Rhinos for the 2014 season. Panintelligence are proud promoters of Rugby League and several employees have been Leeds Rhinos supporters for many years. Jamie joined Leeds Rhinos in 2006, and his achievements include winning eight Grand Finals and four World Club Challenges, which led him to become the most successful Super League player in history. In 2012 he received an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list for his services to Rugby League and he is proud of his Yorkshire heritage.

Last year Leeds Rhinos deployed the Panintelligence software to help analyse their match data and to provide the coaches with more insight into the performance of the players and competitors. The business intelligence dashboard makes it easier to interpret large amounts of data by displaying them as interactive charts and graphs. Data analysts at the club can drill into charts to look at the underlying information, as well as spot trends over time more easily, helping them to improve performance. Leeds Rhinos are a forward thinking club which is keen to deploy new technology. Statistical analysis using BI software is becoming a tool commonly used by all professional sports.  All clubs regularly study their past performance and try to learn from their mistakes. The dashboard reporting software is helping Leeds Rhinos to query their data for useful information and gain an edge over the competition, which impacts game plans, match preparation and training.

Mike Cripps from Panintelligence said “I am delighted we are continuing our sponsorship of Jamie Peacock and happy to see that the dashboard is proving beneficial to the Rhinos. All sports clubs are recording more data than ever before about their players and the game in general, and as a supporter I would be delighted if the Panintelligence dashboard helped in some small way to contribute to future success.”

This year Panintelligence is recruiting new partners to expand its national sales network. We will be hosting a morning event on Friday 21st February at Headingley Stadium in Leeds, the home of Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Speakers at the free event include current partners Advanced Computer Software, Document Logistix and a representative from Leeds Rhinos.
